At PSS we prioritise the environment, sustainability and environmental consciousness. These values are embedded in our curriculum. PSS is proud to have an Eco Club that upholds our Eco Code. We plant indigenous and water-wise plants on our school grounds and the waste from our worm farm is used to fertilise our gardens. Most of our filament light bulbs have been replaced with energy-saving light bulbs. The 3-bin system allows us to reduce our waste and to recycle. Most recently we erected a fog-catcher on the High School roof to investigate how much water can be collected by condensation alone.
